Our goal is to bring a custom, boutique portrait experience to every school and family partnering with Inkstene Photography.

Our approach is personal, intentional, and refined. Unlike high-volume corporate photo companies, we partner with a select number of local schools to deliver exceptional care, hands-on service, and genuine fine art imagery. You receive the efficiency and professionalism of a seasoned studio, paired with the warmth and creative dedication of an independent artist.

Our focus is capturing each child's true character, just as they are. No forced smiles, rigid poses, or awkward countdowns, just the authentic child as they are. The result is a collection of timeless, editorial-quality portraits that leave behind the harsh flashes and busy backdrops of traditional school photos. We create a calm, welcoming space where kids feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to show their true character

A seamless, fully digital portrait experience. Families receive private, password-protected online galleries organized by classroom, grade, or advisory for effortless viewing and ordering
/ We trade stiff poses and generic artificial backdrops for authentic expressions, classic composition, and timeless lighting.
/ Each student receives 2 to 5 distinct proofs presented in both full colour and black & white.
/ Families choose the exact portraits they love, rather than being locked into a single pre-selected pose.
/ We offer high-resolution digital files, museum-grade archival prints, and custom gallery options.
/ Comprehensive prep guides are provided for schools to share with families ahead of photo day.
Orders are placed securely online. Fine art prints and print products are packaged with care and delivered directly to the school within 3 to 4 weeks of order finalization.
Only the space. Inkstene Photography brings all professional studio equipment, lighting, and staff required for a smooth, efficient photo day. High-resolution digital files are provided directly to administration for yearbooks, records, student IDs, and school media. We also manage all parent inquiries and customer service directly.
Yes. Staff portraits, group composites, or traditional class photos can be integrated seamlessly into photo day or scheduled separately to fit your school's calendar.
Our workflow scales comfortably for boutique preschools, private academies, and larger student bodies of several hundred students, working with ages from early childhood through high school.
Sessions can be scheduled throughout the academic calendar, including fall portraits, mid-year sessions, or spring graduations.
There is zero upfront cost to the school. Families purchase prints and digital files entirely a la carte from their private gallery, allowing parents to invest only in the images they cherish.
